Hey guys :) How was your weekend and what did you do ? This morning was sunday school which means I can't sleep in but have a great morning with around 12 lovely kids. Today they had the possibility to bring some of their christmas gifts so that we could share which each other . Furthermore we showed the kids today how we are using the holy bible and they actually had a good time :) Next week I'm going to do a presentation about Germany. The spot where I live, hometown. I didn't really prepared it yet but I still have a week to go. I thought about brining some pictures, a small cross, and definitely german candies. Seriously, Canadians love german candies and for sure I agree. Today I had to study a lot and I finished one of my history projects. I'm looking forward to february. New courses and new teachers :) But the second semester is going to be so great. So far it looks like a lot of fun. Today I filled in a registration form for the adventure program. Guess what ? It's planned from the canadian organization for international students and 3 weekends with plenty of great activities. In February we are going to ski, snowshoeing and doing one overnight. In April we are doing sea kayaking , campfire and swimming with one overnight :) Last but not least is the weekend in June. It's rafting and paintball and as well one overnight :) So far I don't know who is going to participate in this program but that's no problem at all. I will meet other people from other countries and sometimes it's really funny to see how different cultures can be. But as well we all have some similarities : We all spend a certain time in Canada ! :) I fall in love with Canada and enjoy my time :) It's the time I will never forget :) One of the main reasons I would like to come back to live here it's because I love to speak english and to live the canadian way of life. It's different but it's amazing! :) Tomorrow I'm going to go with all Internationals from my schoolboard to Martock for skiing. The weatherforecast is -5 degrees which is great for skiing. I'm going to see my german friend and I can't wait for this moment. Even she is living just 40km away from my house the circumstances were to bad and we didn't see each other for a long time. I'm quite interested if we are going to talk just german because we are mostly writing everything in english. I'm looking forward to ski again :-)
regards :)

skiing :-)
hey folks :) Are you doing good ? I'm good and we had a lot of fun today. Saturday, so up to Martock and down the hill skiing. Yes, it's kinda sad because it's not that cold than it's used to in January. So just 3 runs were open. It's funny because here they do have all different names. So we took the sundance, buttermilk and expressway today :) I was skiing with my siblings and a friend of my sister. During the afternoon I was skiing with her because my sister and my brothers had ski lessons. So we decided to do as much runs as we can and ended up with 13. A good thing was that the chairlift and the T- Bar was opened so the line up was not that long. We had a great day but the weather conditions were kinda bad. To much ice and not a lot of snow. As I came back home I had a really nice talk to my relatives :) Glad to hear that you are all fine :) Tonight my sister , her friend and me went in the hottube which was a great feeling :)
Best regards :)

snowstorm ! :)
Hey guys :) How are you doing ? I hope you are doing good. Finally I thought about to write my text today just in english. Today every single school activity which was planned after school was canceled. Snowstorm was forecasted. Seriously it's really nice to look outside and see just snow, snow blowing down the roads and awful road conditions. Tomorrow i't's supposed to be +5 degrees which is kinda little different compared to today. Some school boards here in Nova Scotia were lucky and had no school today. For us it would be possible tomorrow. It would work for me, for sure ;) But to give you a good heads up I just have a half day tomorrow with an early dismissal at 11 am. Today one of the brazilian girls came to me and told me the following: She is going back home in 2 weeks and her hostfamily is going to get a german girl. That was kind of interesting and I hope she is nice. But seriously I don't really care. I'm here to get in touch with Canadians and I've my friends . It's great with them and we have so much fun ! :) Even if I write with one of my friends who stays around 40km away from we - we mostly write in english :) I like to speak english or french and like to improve both as much as I can :) The bad news are that school isn't less work before exams at all. Next week : Mo. hand in a project for history, same on tuesday, wednesday historytest, thursday+ friday mi'kmaq exam, as well on friday hand in an english project and and history project. I can't wait when it's over ;) But I'm not gonna spend all time on studying because saturday it's time to go on the mountain for skiing and the same is going to be on monday with all international students.
heart greetings :)
Hope everything is going well :)

exchange is about learning :)
Time goes quick . Don't waste it- enjoy it :-)
Best regards

welcome back in the pool :)
:) Unser warm up hieß heute 300m free, 300m IM.
